Presidium of Second Session of 14th National People’s Congress of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Holds Second Meeting

The presidium of the Second Session of the 14th National People’s Congress of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region recently held its second meeting, with all 64 members in attendance, meeting the quorum requirement.

The meeting was presided over by Sun Shaocheng, the executive chairman of the presidium. Also in attendance were executive chairmen Lin Shaochun, Zhang Shaochun, Duan Zhiqiang, Alihua, Li Bingrong, Wu Yangang, and Shi Wenxue.

During the meeting, Zhou Kai, deputy secretary-general of the conference and executive deputy director of the Organization Department of the Autonomous Region Party Committee, provided an explanation on the recommended list of candidates for the election of members of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region People’s Congress at the second meeting of the 14th People’s Congress of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Following the explanation, the meeting voted and approved the “List of Candidates Nominated by the Presidium of the Second Session of the 14th People’s Congress of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for members of the Standing Committee of the 14th People’s Congress of the Autonomous Region.” It was decided that the approved list of candidates will be published for deliberation and discussion by all representatives.

The meeting marks another step in the democratic process of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The decisions made will have a significant impact on the governance and representation within the region.
