TRIESTE. The fire brigade and mountain rescue teams are beating the wooded area surrounding the home of Liliana Resinovich, the sixty-three-year-old from Trieste who disappeared since last December 14th.
The searches, ordered by the Prefecture, started at 9 this morning today 29 December.
At the moment there are 15 men at work to sift through 4 hectares of land from via Capofonte to via Valerio, including the impervious paths that skirt the railway. Carabinieri and police on the spot.
The base camp was set up right in via Capofonte, near the Ater houses.
It is not clear why the searches were activated here, in the woods near the house of the woman’s house, right now, fifteen days after the disappearance. And why not before.
It is therefore not excluded that the rescuers are moving on a specific report and as a result of an investigative activity also on the intersection of the telephone cells hooked up by the woman’s cell phones. Although, it should be remembered, the two cell phones in possession of the sixty-three were found in the house. But it is not excluded, in fact, that they may have been brought into the house at a later time. These are conjectures, of course. But the investigations are open across the board.
