Provincial Party Committee Convenes Meeting to Implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Instructions on Zhenxiong County Landslide
On January 23, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to convey and study the important instructions given by General Secretary Xi Jinping on the landslide in Zhenxiong County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, and to study the implementation work in our province. Provincial Party Committee Secretary Hao Peng presided over the meeting.
The meeting emphasized the importance of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s instructions, which highlighted the Party Central Committee’s commitment to disaster prevention, reduction, and relief work, with a focus on the governing philosophy of prioritizing people’s lives. The meeting called for a deep reflection on recent major domestic production safety accidents and heavy losses caused by natural disasters and urged a strong sense of responsibility to prevent and contain major casualties, improve the intrinsic safety level, and maintain the overall safety and stability of society.
With the approaching Spring Festival and the impact of cold wave weather, the meeting stressed the need for all regions, departments, and units in the province to consolidate their responsibilities for production safety and strictly implement safety supervision responsibilities. This includes the comprehensive investigation and rectification of risk hazards, targeted law enforcement, and the preparation for emergencies at all times.
