SASSARI. The first three of the four fishermen from Sorso who ended up in the center of a diplomatic case between Sardinia and Corsica in recent months were handed over to the French authorities. The young people – they are 27, 30 and 31 years old – were taken from home by the carabinieri in the night between Monday and Tuesday, and at dawn they were boarded on a plane flight to Rome, where they officially passed into the hands of the French authorities. Now they will face trial for a long series of crimes they are accused of having committed on July 2, 2020 in the Bocche di Bonifacio nature reserve.
