The race will be valid for Skyrace titles and the Jute Grand Prix
The Ultramarathon du Fallére becomes part of the circuit for the Italian title of Skyrace and also becomes valid as a test of the Iuta di Ultratrail Grand Prix. The announcement is made by the organizers of Asd Le Contrebandje who, commenting on the decision of Iuta (the Italian association of ultramarathons and trail), speak of “a great injection of confidence, considering that the race returns to the calendar after two years”.
The next Ultramarathon du Fallére will take place on August 28th. It will be the third edition and will propose two paths. The most challenging, 61 kilometers long with 5,000 meters of elevation gain, will be valid for the Italian Skyrace title and the Grand Prix, while the “easier” route of 39 kilometers and 2,700 meters of elevation gain can be tackled individually or through a relay of three competitors who will cover 13 km fractions.
The race will start from the Foyer du Fond in Flassin, in Saint-Oyen.
«The registrations are still in progress – the organizers communicate – at a cost of 60 euros for the long and 40 for the medium. The tricolor value is one more reason to accept the challenge and take part in one of the most classic events of the trail season ».
