The meeting point reporter learned from China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd. that on September 19, the first day of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the passenger flow of the Yangtze River Delta Railway increased significantly, and it is expected to send 2.3 million passengers. The railway department opened 62 more passenger trains that day, organized reconnection of 279 EMU trains, and made every effort to prevent and control the epidemic and guarantee transportation capacity to create a safe, orderly, warm and assured travel environment.

On September 19, the Nanjing Railway Station ushered in a peak of passenger travel, and it is expected to send 230,000 passengers throughout the day. In order to meet the travel demand of passengers, the Nanjing Railway Station opened 1.5 pairs of temporary passengers on the same day, of which two additional temporary passengers (including peak hours) were launched, and a total of 462.5 pairs of trains (141 pairs at Nanjing Railway Station and 321.5 pairs at Nanjing South Railway Station) were operated on the same day. Judging from the pre-sale of tickets, from September 19th to September 21st, Nanjing has enough tickets to go to Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Hefei, Shanghai and other places. The passenger flow mainly consists of visiting relatives, tourism and students in the Yangtze River Delta. In order to care for the elderly passengers and people who are offline, Nanjing Railway Station opened a special window for elderly ticket sales in the ticket hall of Nanjing Railway Station, accepting various payment methods such as cash and electronic payment. According to the passenger flow situation, it can meet the ticket purchase needs of passengers by dynamically adjusting the function of the ticket window and extending the ticket sales time. The elderly and people with disabilities can also purchase tickets through the “Love Mode” on the Railway 12306 website or the “Love Edition” (large print version of the simple mode) in the Railway 12306 mobile app. Nanjing Railway Station and Nanjing South Railway Station have also optimized the inbound and outbound flow lines, and arranged special guides at locations where passengers can easily gather at the entry gates and ticket halls, and opened all entry channels to ensure smooth travel of passengers.

At the same time, the ticket office of Shanghai Railway Station will answer inquiries and assist with mobile phone registration for elderly passengers offline; Shanghai Hongqiao Station and Metro Line 10 will provide key passengers with “road-ground connection” to provide passengers with limited mobility. It is convenient to set up medical service points in the love service area to provide passengers with medical consultation and emergency treatment; Shanghai South Railway Station has updated the lounge chairs, folding beds and children’s amusement facilities in the “Xin Shang” Lei Feng service station in the maternal and infant waiting room. Hangzhou Station dynamically adjusts the window function according to the passenger flow. Hefei Station and Hefei South Station have put in new technological means to combine face-sweeping and electronic temperature measurement. The temperature can be measured at the same time as the face-sweeping entry, which saves the time for passengers to enter the station and facilitates their travel.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the Yangtze River Delta Railway strictly implemented localized epidemic prevention and control measures. All passenger stations have fully implemented the temperature detection of passengers entering and leaving the station, and coordinated with the local government to do the health code and itinerary code inspections, and remind passengers to wear masks during the whole process of waiting for the train; normalize the ventilation and cleaning of service places such as waiting halls and passenger train compartments And disinfection, strengthen the disinfection of key parts such as elevator handrails, door handles, entry gates, security inspection equipment, toilets, etc., to keep the air in public places fresh, the temperature is suitable, and the environment is clean and tidy.
