According to the 2021-2022 Yellow River Flood Prevention Plan Notice issued by the Provincial Prevention Finger, the flood season of the Yellow River in our province starts on December 1 and ends at the end of February of the following year.
At present, the Yellow River Commission, relevant provinces (regions) and relevant units have activated the anti-bully operation mechanism, implemented a 24-hour duty system, fully entered the anti-bully alert state, and made preparations for sudden abuse.
Lingxun is another flood season in which the Yellow River is prone to danger. It is also one of the “four floods” of the Yellow River. It mainly occurs in the lower reaches of the Yellow River below Dongbatou and the “Ji” bay in the Ningmeng River section. Due to the difference in latitude, the closure of the Yellow River in these two sections in winter often starts from the lower section of high latitude and low temperature, and then gradually develops to the upper section of low latitude and high temperature. In the early spring, the river opened in the opposite direction. The upper section opened first and the lower section opened later, and the flow descended along the water. The temperature change is relatively large. The main impact of the flood is in the higher latitude Puyang section. With the construction of Xiaolangdi and other reservoirs , The flow rate of the river is manually controlled, and the river surface is not easy to freeze, which effectively reduces the incidence of the Yellow River in our province.
Because the Yellow River Lingxun is difficult to predict, defend, and rescue, the factors that affect the situation are complex and changeable.
