Thefts on parked cars, dozens of reported cases

by admin

UDINE. Parking the car in Piazza Primo Maggio, especially in areas that are more shaded or darker due to the presence of trees, seems to be a risk lately. In fact, there are reports of car thefts that occurred right in Giardin Grande, for example in the area adjacent to the Stellini high school or the Loris Fortuna garden. In recent weeks, there have been several cases of broken windows or forced doors.

Some have lost a backpack, others some technological equipment. Sometimes the value of the stolen materials is huge and all that remains is to report the incident to the police. And the chances of recovering the stolen goods are very few. On this issue, on social media, a real debate has opened in which the most recurrent advice is to leave nothing of value in the cockpit (the same thing that the police and carabinieri always repeat) and possibly to opt for the nearby underground parking which is under video surveillance.

And an avianese reported on his social profile a theft suffered in a shopping center in Cassacco: the thief, in this case, would have been filmed by the dashcam of the car while taking away a bag.
