The National Police of Ecuador, through the Chimborazo Subzone No. 6, has announced today the arrest of an individual allegedly linked to the grisly case of kidnapping and murder of the minor Dana Ramos. The arrest took place at approximately 11:00 in the area near Barriga Park in the city of Riobamba.
The police action was carried out in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office, and is based on several elements of conviction obtained during the investigative process.
The detained person has been identified as Rafael Y., who is presumed to be the co-author of this horrendous crime.
