They complain to Corporinoquia for permits for the El Morro – Labranzagrande road – news

The announcement was made by leaders César Ortiz Zorro and Carlos Amaya, during the bilateral Government Council that took place on Saturday in Yopal.

The marathon day that the governors held since the afternoon of the previous Friday, in which they traveled the Yopal – Labranzagrande road, ended with the great regional meeting in the capital of the neighboring department, and with important announcements for both territories.

Among the prioritized projects are:

• The El Cusiana roads, the liberating route (Socha – Sácama – Hato Corozal), the Transversal del Sisga, the Vado Hondo – Labranzagrande – Yopal road, the Ramiriquí – Chámeza and Nunchía – Mompote roads.

• Environmental sustainability, protection of water and moors.

• Generation of food security and marketing spaces without intermediaries.

• Strengthening citizen security through technology, facial recognition cameras and a command and control center in Yopal.

• Promotion of nature tourism in the region.

• Creation of the Casanare Liquor Store and the Casanare Lottery with advice and experience from the Boyacá Government.

• The urea plant in Casanare and the logistics center for Boyacá.

• Creation of the association of departments of Casanare and Boyacá.

• The University Hospital in Yopal.

• UPTC headquarters in Yopal and strengthening of the headquarters in Aguazul.

• Exchange of experiences of athletes at heights and support for the sector.

This council highlights the prioritization of strategic roads such as the Transversal del Cusiana, the Ruta Libertadora: Socha- Sácama- La Cabuya- Paz de Ariporo, the Transversal del Sisga and, of course, the Vado Hondo- Labranzagrande- El Morro- Yopal road. .

“We hope in 2027 to be inaugurating this road together, as governors. We will have a paved road, we are going to fulfill it in Casanare and Boyacá. We paved the 15 kilometers of that road in my government and it is a great blessing that two brothers in life can govern these sister departments for the benefit of our communities,” said the leader of the Boyacenses.

The Governor of Casanare assured that there is a willingness on the part of both governors to provide the resources that had been agreed upon in the Bicentennial Pact, and that they will also request the national government to bring forward the future validity periods in order to move forward with the work.

Additionally, both leaders assured that situations that occur with geological faults or mass removals will be attended to by both departments, to prevent the contractor from investing the resources of the work in addressing these unforeseen events.

More bilateral Governing Council agreements

Both governments, Boyacá and Casanare, committed to working together in the creation of the Agricultural Transformation Center and to advance in a great commitment to reindustrialization and food production, with the creation of a urea plant, in a block between Boyacá, Casanare and several other departments.

In terms of security, they agreed to combat it on two fronts: with technology and facial recognition cameras that they will install on the borders of both departments and that they will manage before the national government, as well as with more increases in force, and with education.
