The Special Investigation Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice began a formal investigation against the representative of the Chamber Miguel Abraham Polo Polo for the alleged crimes of libel and slander.
In response to this determination, Polo Polo has been summoned to provide an investigation.
The investigation originated from a publication on the social network Polo Polo allegedly linked the former senator and former candidate for Mayor of Bogotá, Bolívar, with two suicides of the senator’s former employeesthe financing of the First Line, among other facts.
Bolívar declared that, although he initially tried to reach a conciliation, he is no longer willing to do so. «I had every intention of conciliating. So much so that I attended 3 times and showed evidence to the magistrate to prove that the congressman was slandering me.«, he expressed.

In response, the congressman Polo Polo declared: “Mr. Bolívar asked me to recant for saying that he carried the suicides of Diego Díaz and Felipe Pasos on his back. and that he had financed the first line, the first line that was a criminal group that set the country on fire, murdered, tortured and raped members of the police. He took out the eyes of some and burned others, bankrupted many businesses and damaged dozens of public works. I did not retract it and that is why they opened this investigation in Court. “Our group of lawyers is now ready to provide the defense.”
