The Central Reserve Bank (BCR) reported economic growth of 3.5%, adding that 17 of the 19 economic activities that make up the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reported an increase. Among these, the construction sector stands out, with 17.9% growth.
The head of Housing, Michelle Sol, highlighted: «As a Housing System we support this area by expediting and facilitating construction permits so that developers meet their projections in time and money. During the administration of President Nayib Bukele we have released an investment of $2,386.4 million. Only in March 2024, approved permits and feasibility were recorded for $64.5 million.

Electricity 14.6% Professional services 11.1% Leisure services 10.2% Financial services 7.5% Administrative and support services 4.6% Government services 3.9%
