They rescue an indigenous family attacked by their own community in Tame

The Army assisted a family made up of six members, four of them minors, who were attacked with knives by people from the same community.

Upon learning of the incident, the nearest military unit provided first aid to those injured by the attack, evacuating them by helicopter to the military canton of Tame, where they were provided with food and water.

Subsequently, contact was made with Tame’s representative to coordinate the handover of this family by the soldiers, so that that authority could receive the complaint and determine the next step.

The official expressed his commitment to taking immediate actions to receive these people, while the military unit was ordered to make movements towards the community, with prior authorization from the indigenous governor, in order to provide security.
