During the 2024 General Shareholders’ Meeting, held on the morning of this Saturday, March 23, Ecopetrol elected its new board of directors for this year. This management body of the company is made up of nine main members, as established in the company’s Bylaws, without designation of substitutes.

Despite initial requests from some shareholders to postpone their election, after eight hours of debate and voting, it was decided to continue with the planned agenda.
Therefore, the plan proposed by the Government was approved by the assembly with a total of 98.9% participation.
