Looking at the future of the tournament, the president of the Dimayor recalled that progress continues to consolidate it. “We are in a process: the first League was three months and today we are talking about seven months, I think it will be progressive and the idea is that in the future we will have two semesters of competition.”
The fifteen teams in competition will be: Independent Santa Fe, Millionaires, Equity, America, Deportivo Cali, Internacional de Palmira, Atlético Nacional, Independiente Medellín, Junior, Deportivo Pasto, Real Santander, Llaneros, Cúcuta Deportivo, Deportivo Pereira and Alianza.

One of the big absentees will be Atlético Huila, which was champion of the women’s Libertadores in 2018, in addition to Boyacá Chicó, Once Caldas and Bucaramanga.
Independiente Santa Fe has three League titles (2017, 2020 and 2023), followed by América de Cali with two (2019 and 2022), Atlético Huila was the best in 2018 and Deportivo Cali was the best in 2021.
