Teachers are in charge of one of the most important tasks in society, which represents great challenges in school classrooms, which is why, from the Yopal Education Secretariat, efforts have been focusing on seeking actions that generate well-being. to the teachers who, in the municipality, are training 33,023 students.

One of the first tasks this year was to provide mental health prevention, promotion and self-care tools to the teachers and educational directors of Yopal, from the well-being area of ​​the Yopal Secretariat of Education, an activity managed by the Ministry of National Education

This orientation was given by a professional from the Ministry who was in Yopal, addressing topics for managing anxiety, depression and emotional management.

Appreciating the great work of the guidance teachers, the Secretary of Education of Yopal, David Díaz Sánchez, recognized these professionals who are in charge of the task of achieving the adequate adaptation of the children to school life in the areas academic, social and emotional.

Taking into account that the student population exceeds 33 thousand students, Secretary Díaz Sánchez pointed out that one of the components of the plant study that will be carried out with the support of the Ministry of Education, is to expand the number of guidance teachers, due Because currently the municipality has 18, but more professionals are required to provide the care that this population of Yopal requires.

Looking for welfare alternatives for teachers who still do not have their own home, the Yopal Education Secretariat managed a space for the socialization of housing credits that can be granted to teachers, by the National Savings Fund.

During the space, teachers had the opportunity to ask questions to resolve concerns about this agreement that was signed at the national level by Fiduprevisora, Fomag (National Fund for Social Benefits of Teachers) and the National Savings Fund.

These activities carried out by David Díaz Sánchez and the Yopal Education Secretariat team are reflected in better work and emotional well-being and in generating different stimuli for the municipality’s teachers.
