Scott and Teo are fine: the Alpine Rescue rescued them from the bottom of the cliff at Spert

ALPAGO. Scott and Teo are safe and sound: the two setters who ended up in a gorge in Spert were brought back to safety by the men of the Alpine Rescue.

Today morning, Monday 28 June, around 7.30 the Alpago Mountain Rescue was alerted, following the request of a man from Casale sul Sile, in the Treviso area. Sunday afternoon he had gone out for a walk with his two setter dogs but Scott and Teo had suddenly gone away and never returned.

The owner had searched for them for a long time, until he heard them barking under the cemetery of Spert, in Farra d’Alpago, where at first light he had finally seen them in Due Ponti, stuck in the gorge that descends towards Madonna del Runal.

A team, together with the conductor of the canine unit of the Treviso Prealps, descended for 25 meters until they reached the dogs, exhausted but healthy. Scott and Teo let themselves be approached immediately, the rescuers put on their harnesses, secured them to the rope and recovered them, to entrust them to their owner.
