According to the police report, uniformed officers on duty ordered the driver of a truck to stop, who was accompanied by another person, who took a nervous attitude before the routine control.
The suspicious attitude caught the attention of the police who decided to carry out a thorough examination of the vehicle. When they inspected the trunk they found three carry-on bags, which did not contain anything suspicious, but when they searched the spare tire they found eleven packages wrapped in bags. black, which contained cocaine base; In addition to this, three mobile phone devices and a traumatic weapon with a supplier and five cartridges for it were seized.
Immediately the two men, aged 37 and 32, were arrested, while the stash valued at more than 52 million pesos, which was apparently intended to be distributed and marketed in fifteen thousand three hundred doses, was collected as evidence. .
The drugs seized and the two captured were left at the disposal of the Section 14 Prosecutor’s Office of Granada, Meta, for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and/or carrying narcotics.
