The Association for Mathematics Applied to Economic and Social Sciences (AMASES) has confirmed Prof. Massimiliano Ferrara, Professor of Mathematics for Economics and Business Analytics, as “Council Full MemberDelegate” representing Italy, at the prestigious European Mathematical Society (EMS).
The prestigious position awarded to the Reggio Academician is a confirmation in the role starting from 2020, testimony to the excellent work carried out at an international level and above all to the important results achieved in not only academic research.
The news was received with particular satisfaction in national academic circles, especially for the recognition of an esteemed professor from a southern university representing Italy, within the prestigious European institution which plays a research coordination role in the field of pure and applied mathematical studies in all member countries.
The appointment to Prof. Massimiliano Ferrara comes in recognition of an important and continuous study and research activity in the field of applied mathematics in extremely relevant fields of economic and financial sciences.
