Since modern times, China has gradually become a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society. The country has been humiliated, the people have been embarrassed, and civilization has been dusted. The Chinese nation has suffered unprecedented calamities. In order to save the nation from peril, the Chinese people rose up to resist, and people with lofty ideals rushed and shouted. Resistance, failure, and way-finding were repeated in that era. The blast of the October Revolution brought Marxism-Leninism to China. The founding of the Communist Party of China was a great event that broke the ground and profoundly changed the direction and process of the development of the Chinese nation after modern times, profoundly changed the future and destiny of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation, and profoundly changed the trend and pattern of world development.

Practice has proved that in a large eastern country with a large population and a relatively backward level of productivity development, it is necessary to persist in combining the basic principles of Marxism with China’s specific reality and the excellent traditional culture of China in order to carry out revolution, construction, and reform. Do not move your own way.
Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era. In the face of new characteristics and new requirements brought about by changes in major social contradictions, and new contradictions and challenges brought about by the complex international environment, it is necessary to uphold and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics and promote material civilization and politics. The coordinated development of civilization, spiritual civilization, social civilization, and ecological civilization will continue to expand the new path of Chinese-style modernization.
