Positivity to narcotic will no longer be between hiring checks
(ANSA) – NEW YORK, JUNE 01 – Amazon in favor of the legalization of marijuana in the United States. The giant Jeff Bezos, in a post on his blog, says that he will “actively support” the legalization of marijuana at the federal level: “We hope that lawmakers take action and pass the law.”
In launching its support, Amazon also announces a clear change of position: in the program of controls that precede the hiring of workers there will be no more marijuana. “For many years it has banned” potential workers if positive for marijuana, but “with state laws” in force in the United States, we have changed course.
