In a joint note, the majority in the Region comments on the approval of the law on companies with impaired loans that have mortgages with Finaosta
“An exceptional and awaited intervention, requested on several occasions, for which we were committed and which demonstrates the full attention of this majority towards the Valle d’Aosta productive fabric and which is added to the aid measures already approved during this Legislature” . This was stated in a note by Union Valdôtaine, Alliance Valdôtaine – Stella Alpina, Vallée d’Aoste Unie and Progetto Civico Progressista regarding the law approved by the Regional Council on support for companies with impaired debt positions that have signed mortgages with Finaosta.
The measure allows companies in difficulty to extend the residual duration of the amortization plans by up to seven years in addition to a possible pre-amortization period of up to two years.
“By the end of 2021 – announce the four majority groups – we will evaluate the opportunity to introduce structural measures for the renegotiation of soft loans starting from 2022, also with reference to companies that do not have debt positions classified as non-performing loans” .
