The Ministry of Public Health announced that the 2024 Vaccination Campaign will be launched in April, marking the beginning of a comprehensive strategy to address the prevention of diseases such as covid-19 and influenza.
The 2024 vaccination campaign is led by the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare (MSPBS) through the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI).
The director of the PAI, Luis Cousirat, when explaining the decision to start the campaign in April, highlighted the importance of approaching the winter season proactively, taking last year’s success as a reference.
The availability of the doses and their distribution to the vaccination centers will mark the official start of this initiative, supported by an official communication to the population to encourage participation, the health ministry reported.
