Three weeks after the entry into force of the vaccination obligation for people over fifty they are still there 1,331 million of “dodgers” to anti-Covid immunization in this age group. For those who fail there is a fine of 100 eurowhile from February 15 for those over 50 it is essential to have the reinforced green pass (the green certification that can only be obtained with vaccination or recovery) to access the workplace.
In the last week – according to the government report updated to February 18 – they have decided to receive their first dose 73.951 over 50, a decrease compared to the previous seven days (111.836). The slowdown signals how the thrust of obligation is running out. At this rate, everyone would need 125 days to get the first dose.
Costa: obligation until June, perhaps extension

The slowdown: week under 200 thousand vaccines a day
Overall, there is a slowdown in anti-Covid vaccines. In the last week, as illustrated by Lab24, daily administrations have consistently been below 200 thousand (Thursday 17 February the lowest point with 134 thousand). It is always the third doses that represent the bulk of the injections, while the first doses struggle. After the peak of 4.6 million of administrations recorded in the week between 10 and 16 January 2022, the decline was constant: 3.9 million (January 17-23), 3.5 million (January 24-30), 2.5 million (January 31-February 6), 1.6 million (February 7-13). 48.9 million have completed primary school (the86,2% of the total population). They did the third dose 36.6 million (the 62% of the population). The age group in which the unvaccinated are more numerous is the pediatric one (they are 1,682,387, equal to 46% of the total number of children between 5 and 11 years).
Among the fifties 6.1% without doses
In the bracket affected by the vaccine obligation, i 27.785 million of over 50, the 4,8% has not yet adapted (1,331 millions). The largest “subgroup” is that of the fifties: 587mila still “uncovered” (equal to 6,1%). From the publication in the Official Gazette of the decree introducing the vaccine imposed by law (January 8) received the first anti-Covid injection 834mil people. The group of resisters was thus reduced by 38,5%.
