The teams that will participate in this tournament will fight to get a place in the U-17 World Cup held in Qatar.

The new U-17 World Cup
The 2025 U-17 South American will be the first after the reformulation of the U-17 World Cup by FIFA. The competition will now be held every year, with 48 teams and in the next five editions with Qatar as the host.
Subsequently, Conmebol will report the distribution of World Cup quotas “whose number will probably increase from the current four” and the format of the tournament.
Other confirmed venues
Also confirmed were, among other venues, the venue of the 2025 South American U-20 for Peru and those of the finals of the 2024 and 2025 South American Cups for Asunción and Santa Cruz de la Sierra respectively.
