Two thefts in the crib created by the parishioners: first a statue disappears, then also the offerings

SPILIMBERGO. Theft in the crib set up by volunteers in the small church of Santa Cecilia, located at the back of the thirteenth-century Cathedral of Spilimbergo. In addition to the offerings, a figurine was also stolen. A great disappointment to the “Friends of the nativity scene”, a group of parishioners who each year devote particular care and attention to the creation of the traditional monumental nativity scene. «We have summarized the theme chosen for this year – explains Eugenio Giacomello, one of the creators – with the phrase“ Harmony sought ”.
