120 vintage cars made their way to a special location on Saturday, April 27th: This year’s destination of the “Tour de Rü” was Ehreshoven Castle near Engelskirchen, a filming location for the popular ZDF program “Bares für Rares”. The classic car trip started for the 20th time this year.
“Tour de Rü”: Technical problem with classic car led to fire
As the vehicles drove through Langenberg, there was an incident involving a Jaguar. Apparently due to a technical problem it caught fire. The flames were coming from the interior and the engine compartment apparently could no longer be opened. The fire department extinguished the vehicle and there were no injuries. But the old treasure can no longer be saved, as you can see in the video here:
