VIVERONE

Who knows what history lies behind the two boats abandoned in two different areas along the shores of Lake Viverone, which the Municipality, after having waited in vain for the time for regularization by the owners, has alienated and then put up for auction. with the approval of the council of the associated management of the Viverone lake.

The two boats, both sailing cabinets in fiberglass, were in fact moored in public structures without authorization in the area of the Anzasco beach.

«The time to regularize their position, after numerous reminders and a public notice, had expired some time ago – explains the mayor Renzo Carisio -. It was therefore necessary to proceed with the alienation, as required by regional regulations and by our ordinance issued in 2005 which regulates the use of state-owned port areas overlooking the lake basin. And to say that these are boats that are still in good condition and of fair value ». And again, continues the mayor Carisio, “we don’t know why they were abandoned.”

There is still time to participate in the auction of the two boats that no one claims. The offers must be sent by e-mail or in a sealed envelope to the Municipality of Viverone, attaching the documents and a declaration on the destination of the boat.

Upward bids start at a minimum of one thousand euros for the largest boat and 500 for the second. To be awarded to the highest bidder. Some small maintenance work and the two sailing cabin cruisers will certainly be able to return to plowing the waters of the lake, while the Municipality will allocate the proceeds to accommodation interventions in the lake area.
