(ANSA) – ROME, SEPTEMBER 06 – During the week a high pressure field will try to expand again on Italy; not the whole country, however, will be able to enjoy a phase of more dry and sunny weather, in fact a vortex full of thunderstorms is active in the nearby Balkan regions, ready to condition the weather in the southern regions. The team of the site www.iLMeteo.it announces that today the storm instability will mainly affect some parts of Campania, Calabria, Basilicata and the eastern sectors of Sicily; elsewhere the high pressure will try to make room just enough to guarantee conditions of decidedly drier weather, at times even sunny, except for the presence of some notes of afternoon instability on the alpine mountains and on some stretches of the Piedmontese and Lombard plains .
This meteorological scenario will continue until Thursday 9 September: Italy will therefore continue to remain divided between a stable, sunny, and also quite warm weather for the period in the North and Center, and a more unstable weather in the South, where more thunderstorms, even of high intensity.
In detail: Monday 6. In the north: rainfall in the morning on some stretches of the northwestern plain and then in the Alps. In the center: instability in the afternoon between Frosinone, Aquila and Isernino. In the south: thunderstorms over central-eastern Sicily, Calabria, Lucania, Puglia, Salerno.
Tuesday 7. In the north: mostly sunny. Middle: good weather prevailing. South: unstable with thunderstorms scattered over southern Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria and central-eastern Sicily. Wednesday 8. In the north: thunderstorms on the western borders of Piedmont. Center: thunderstorms over eastern Sardinia and southern Lazio. In the south: many thunderstorms in southern Sicily, Calabria, Basilicata, Puglia and Campania.
