Sicily begins to “burn” with heat. Despite the hazy weather in some areas of the island, from yesterday, and today the mercury column has made a leap forward, temperatures have begun to rise, anticipating the approaching summer season. Touch peaks of 32 degrees: a gift from the African anticyclone which is sweeping the region in these hours and which, unlike what happens in the North, will continue to insist at least until the middle of next week. The temperatures will actually drop by a few degrees and from Thursday, according to the forecasts of ilMeteo.it, in the eastern part of the island, from Catania downwards, there will also be a little rain.
Today’s hot day has, unsurprisingly, filled the beaches: all fleeing the heat and the “confinement” of recent months due to the pandemic.
