Importance is given to cooperation between companies for the creation of new channels for their internationalization, for technology transfer, for the creation of distribution relationships and digital marketing activities.

UDINE. An ideal bridge between the Friuli vineyard and those of Armenia and Ukraine. This is what Agrifood Friuli Venezia Giulia intends to build (agri-food and bioeconomy park of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region), the protagonist of two projects supported by the European Union in the context of collaboration with the countries of the Near East outside the community perimeter.

In-depth seminars, exchanges of visits to get to know the respective realities up close and participation in international trade fairs are scheduled.

The regional agency Agrifood Fvg was the winner of a “call” of the European program Eu4Bcc of the wine sector that wants to support collaboration between companies and European institutions and 6 Eastern Partnership countries (EaP): Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. He will thus carry out two parallel projects. The first is called Wine-Chain and will involve Italian and Armenian wineries over the course of six months, a land with a very rich wine history since 6,500 years ago and which is now heading towards a modernization of its production system.

Agrifood’s second project, lasting four months, is called Wine V-Net and will create the basis for collaborations with Ukrainian partners. In both cases importance is given to cooperation between companies for the creation of new channels for their internationalization, for technology transfer, for the creation of distribution relationships and digital marketing activities.

The strength of the two projects is their ability to involve the entire wine supply chain, therefore not only the productive part of cultivation and winemaking, but also the whole system of service and equipment suppliers.
