The Xi’an Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters decided to start a new round of nucleic acid screening at 12:00 on December 27. In order to ensure the accuracy of the new round of nucleic acid screening results and minimize the flow of people, starting from 0:00 on the 27th, the city’s epidemic prevention and control measures will be further strengthened.

According to the “Notice on Cooperating in a New Round of Nucleic Acid Screening Work” of the Xi’an Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, all residents will not leave their homes or gather except to participate in nucleic acid sampling as required. After the residents in the prevention area complete a new round of nucleic acid sampling and show a negative result, they will continue to implement the original out-of-going procurement regulations, and all communities must be organized in an orderly manner, and exit vouchers should be issued at the wrong time. Special practitioners engaged in epidemic prevention and control and people’s livelihood protection industries and candidates for postgraduate examinations shall continue to implement the original control measures. All universities and colleges strictly strengthen the management of students on campus, and do not leave the dormitory without special needs. All medical institutions should strengthen management, and personnel should not be crossed or flowed unless necessary. All supermarkets, convenience stores, farmer’s markets, medical institutions, and logistics and delivery places strictly implement code scanning, current limiting, and killing measures. All staff must wear N95 masks and medical gloves. Each nucleic acid sampling point must be guided by dedicated personnel, fixed routes, time-sharing divisions, and staggered organization. The sampling position and the waiting position must be kept at a distance of more than 2 meters, and the distance between the queue personnel must be more than 1 meter.

After this round of screening is completed, the Xi’an Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters will adjust control measures based on the test results and the situation.
