According to the Chinese Go Association, the 24th Ahan · Tongshan Cup Chinese Go Rapid Open Tournament qualifiers ended on the 7th at the Hangzhou Branch of the Chinese Chess Academy. 8 players including world champions Fan Tingyu and Tan Xiao Chess players advanced to this tournament.

A total of 128 chess players participated in the single-elimination qualifiers. Both Fan Tingyu and Tan Xiao got tickets for this tournament after passing 4 rounds in a row. Among them, Fan Tingyu defeated the new star Wang Xinghao in the fourth and final round of the qualifiers on the afternoon of the 7th, while Tan Xiao eliminated another world champion Tuo Jiaxi in the final round of the qualifiers.

World champion Shi Yue lost to Chen Xian in the third round of the qualifiers on the morning of the 7th. And Chen Xian lost to Xu Jiayang in the fourth round of the qualifiers, and the latter successfully entered the competition. Another world champion, Dang Yifei, was eliminated in the third round of the qualifying round.
