Against Imola, which is sailing in the play off zone, it was a splendid victory in three sets and a robust performance that certainly inoculated a lot of self-esteem in a group that really needed it. And, speaking of fundamentals, the Garlasco power plants, together with all the companions, built the company by blocking the way to the Romagna attacks, even more so when the match, in the final of the third set, entered into lively balance. . The great glue, then, was the free Arianna Ferrari, decisive and spectacular, but above all captain not by chance as she was able to continually encourage and exalt her companions with every action.

Angelescu satisfied

«I am very happy with the result and the concrete performance and character of my girls», Madalina Angelescu comments on the day, adding: «It is an important victory, even more so because Imola is a strong, solid team with many resources. We were good at maintaining a high pace of play and concentration, even in critical moments when they put us in serious difficulty ».

Angelescu also notes the importance and the decisive weight on the match of the very positive and productive responses of some fundamentals: «I think that in the end we basically made the difference on the wall and in defense and making very few mistakes. Clearly the road to salvation is still long, so we must go ahead like this, with this determination and with a great desire to do and to fight ».

In fact, to cool the more than legitimate enthusiasm a little after this great victory over Imola, there are really unexpected results from the other fields. All Garlasco’s direct competitors in the battle for salvation won I scored points, even Rivalta di Reggio Emilia inflicted the first defeat on the hitherto undefeated leaders Montale, but Alseno also won and Gossolengo moved the ranking which shortened towards the tall. And on Saturday the direct clash arrives in Gossolengo to be absolutely tried to win, before the complicated challenges in Montale and Cremona.
