Agrigento, 21 December 2021 – A little girl from two years she died surprise in the cot by a fire flared up in the house. The tragedy took place in a house in via San Giuseppe in Palma di Montechiaro, 30 kilometers from Agrigento.
Several fire brigade teams rushed to the scene and are still at work, while the carabinieri immediately started the investigations to ascertain the causes of the fire.
From the first information it is known that the little girl was surprised in her sleep by the fire, on the first floor of the house. The parents, on the other hand, were on the ground floor, and tried to rescue their daughter, but the already very high flames prevented it. The causes of the fire include a short circuit or a gas leak.
