The adventure of AWE Sport Education, the benefit company dedicated to the training and professionalization of the sports industry, officially begins. Born from the union between an offshoot of AWE Sport and the Portuguese reality Play Your Future, AWE Sport Education straddles the e-learning market and the sports industry.
THE PROJECT – In 2020 AWE International Group started a process of analysis and investment in the sustainability and education sectors which led to the financing of Play Your Future SA and the creation of an internal hub with a targeted focus on the needs of the market in terms of professionalization. In 2023, a process of strategic and operational convergence of the two entities (physical and digital) began with the aim of creating a single hub and positioning itself as a leader in the global “sport e-learning” market. The culmination came in 2024 with the birth of AWE Sport Education, which will be able to count on all the most valuable assets of the AWE International Group: staff, patents, contracts and an academic model capable of making high-quality training accessible to millions. of young sports enthusiasts looking for employment in this sector.
A process of constant growth and development which was also able to benefit from an expansion of the company’s organizational chart, as demonstrated by the entry of Giorgio Chiellini. The former captain of Juventus and the Italian national team has in fact been a partner and brand ambassador of the project for a year now.
THE METHOD – Through a unique offer in terms of content and technological tools used, this new reality presents itself as a concrete bridge between job opportunities and young people interested in embarking on a career in this sector.
Students will in fact be able to enjoy complete training, structured both through in-person lessons and through the activation of actual digital campuses. Furthermore, the most deserving will obtain concrete job opportunities at the end of their studies and will receive prizes related to sport.
