CASTLE OF AGOGNA
Bonomi hits 4-4 with Bra in the big match at Castello d’Agogna and keeps a spark of hope alive for access to the Scudetto playoffs. A game in which the Piedmontese played a good first half, closing ahead 1-2 at half-time, then the Lomellina team reacted and in a more balanced second half managed to stop the guests on a tie. The two Paduan brothers, Francesco and Lorenzo, both with a recent past at Bonomi before moving to the Bra, lined up in the ranks of the Piedmontese.
«In the first half Bra proved to be more of a team, while we relied above all on personal actions – explains the Lomellino manager Piero Nabarro – then in the second half we made a great comeback, with evident supremacy on the pitch. A bit of altruism is still missing, but we are satisfied ». Next Saturday the Lomellina line-up will not take the field as, in the next round, the calendar provides for the transfer to Cagliari on the bottom side of Ht Sardegna which was played in advance on Sunday 3 April, when Bonomi had won 5-4 at end of a more complex game than expected. Coach Gimenez’s team now has two weeks to better prepare for the return to the field: on Saturday 14 May Bonomi will return to play against Bologna again at home.
