It is the first operation completed by the sporting director Michele Chittaro and the historic manager Floris Vedana, who have received a mandate from the club to set up the village to come. Talks with the players have also begun and almost all of them have given their consent to wear the rossoblù jersey again. Names are not provided at the moment, because it is better to put everything in black and white, in any case the handshakes are almost like a signature on the agreement.
“We wanted to start the new season,” says Chittaro. “The board of directors was held last week and the desire to continue doing well has emerged.”
The Borgo in the 2020-2021 tournament had taken the field just four times, winning one, losing another and impacting the remaining two. However, we are talking about a staff set up to try to aim for the playoffs, as in the previous tournament interrupted at the end of February due to Covid. Championships always lived with D’Alberto on the bench, who had landed in Mel in December 2018, when he replaced Sandro Tormen in the middle of the Promotion championship, which ended, among other things, with the relegation to First. The idea would be to always remain in the medium-high areas of the ranking and the duo D’Alberto – Bernardi is considered the most suitable.
«The agreement was found immediately and we are happy to continue together. The intention is to keep the staff, adding those two, three necessary pieces. At the moment only a couple of guys have told me they want to think about staying with us, due to various work commitments ».
