The Italian Bowls Federation has announced the dates of the Serie A championship for the flying specialty, where Brb Ivrea is present. It will start on January 22nd and will end the regular phase on May 7th, while the final four that will establish the winner is scheduled for May 28th and 29th. Brb Ivrea is the reigning champion team. The Ivrea players won their eighth championship in Loano on 11 July when at the end of an uncertain final they defeated the reigning champions of Gaglianico by 14-13.

There are eight participating teams, one more than the previous edition. In addition to Aldino Bellazzini’s Canavesani, there are three other Piedmontese companies: La Perosina, Gaglianico and Auxilium Saluzzo. So there is a Valle d’Aosta, the newly promoted Nus and there are two Venetians, the Marenese and the Noventa di Piave. Finally, a team from Friuli, the newly promoted Maxim from Pasian di Prato, near Udine.

The debut of Brb Ivrea will be at home, at the bowling alley of Salassa, against the Valdostani del Nus, then there will be two consecutive trips to Veneto, against Noventa on 29 and on the fields of Marenese on February 5, on the fourth day internal match against the Auxilium of Saluzzo on the 12th, followed by the trip to Biella with the Gaglianico on the 19th. Followed by Ivrea-Maxim on 26, to close the first round in Perosa Argentina against Perosina on 5 March. These are the dates of the return, with reversed fields: 12, 19 and 26 March, 2, 23 and 30 April, 7 May. –
