Capri (Naples), 30 July 2021 – Another one pain for the family of Emanuele Melillo, the 32-year-old driver who died in the serious accident involving the minibus crashing into the Marina Grande bathhouse. Emanuele’s pregnant partner, 30-year-old Rosaria Ardita, has lost the baby she had in her womb.
The young woman has started feeling sick immediately after the tragedy: the death of her partner surprised her a few days after having crowned the dream of going to live together with Emanuele. Furthermore, according to what has been learned, the family is receiving numerous phone calls from self-styled benefactors who are offering free support.
The last tests on the driver’s body have begun
The last examinations on the organic material of the heart muscle and brain taken from the victim. Investigations aimed at exclude the presence of occult pathologiesyou. The results will be made available to investigators in the coming days. The results will be decisive for the progress of the investigation, which is why the examination was held in the presence of consultants from the Prosecutor’s Office and family, appointed by the criminal lawyer Giovanna Cacciapuoti and by the lawyers Luca Marangio and Antonella Giglio.
From the first autopsy it emerged, in fact, that the causes of death would be attributable to multiple injuries to the thoraco-abdominal organs. It would therefore be entirely necessary to ascertain the cause of the sudden exit of the bus from the road in a straight and unobstructed stretch, attributed in the first hypothesis precisely to an illness of the driver.
The accident
The accident took place last July 22 in Capri, where a minibus, after having broken through a railing, crashed on a bathing establishment in Marina Grande.
