Wuxi City Workers Photography Series Competition Honors Front-Line Workers’ Contributions

Wuxi City, China – The 2023 second season of the Wuxi City Workers Photography Series Competition of “The Most Beautiful Work and Contributions” has recently concluded. Jointly sponsored by the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and Jiangnan Evening News, this event aimed to showcase the dedicated efforts of front-line workers and promote their inspiring stories through visual art.

The competition received a remarkable number of entries capturing the essence of work and the tireless contributions of individuals in various fields. A panel of judges carefully reviewed each submission, and winners were selected based on the competition’s rules and guidelines.

Fan Xing’s poignant photograph, “Shipyard Beautician,” won the well-deserved First Prize. The image encapsulated the grace and strength of a worker involved in shipyard maintenance. Wang Daqiang’s piece, “Vibrant Orange,” and Wei Wanyi’s “Working at Heights” were both awarded the Second Prize for their captivating depictions of workers in their respective work environments. The Third Prize winners include He Bin for “Steel Torrent,” Zhou Weidong for “Light,” Shen Zhong for “Concentration,” Zhang Yimou for “Time and Space Tunnel,” and Xue Huiyou for “Work Together.”

Expressing their immense gratitude towards the participants, the organizers reiterated their invitation for all photography enthusiasts to pay attention to the touching moments of front-line workers.
