Chauveau to miss Soldier Hollow races for administrative reasons

Frenchwoman Sophie Chauveau, selected for the American stage of Soldier Hollow this week, will have to watch her friends from her television in France. The world relay champion failed to have her ESTA (travel authorization to the United States) validated in time.

The probable cause? Vacation in Cuba in 2022, a country on the list of states supporting terrorism for the American administration. Although she will miss the three Soldier Hollow races, Chauveau will however be present during the last weekend of the World Cup season in Canmore (Canada), from March 14 to 17.

The Bleues will therefore have to do without the skier from Grand-Bornand for the relay scheduled for Saturday (8:25 p.m. French time).
