Bologna, 30 June 2021 – Over 1,500 people took part in Monteveglio with torches and candles (photo) to the evening in memory of Chiara Gualzetti, the sixteen year old killed in the park of the Abbey Sunday 27 June. The group, led by dad Vincenzo (video) e mother Giusi, found himself in front of the town hall and paraded through the streets of the town, up to the place close to the hill where he was found the body of the girl. Here a tripod with one was set up big picture of the victim. The first rose was placed by a family friend, then the parents also brought flowers. Many people were crying.
A friend of Chiara’s who helped her in her studies for a long time, and especially her parents, took the floor. “I rely on justice, I have faith in justice and I I want justice for my daughter“, he punctuated mother Giusi (video). Father Vincenzo also asked for help from all present “so that my daughter has justice with the big ‘G'”. Both wished to thank those present and also the authorities “a great humanity, like all of you who are close to us tonight”.
