Covid and football: in Belgium from 26 December to play behind closed doors

(ANSA) – ROME, DEC 25 – The Belgian football championship restarts after the brief Christmas break but dealing with Covid-19. The government has decided that starting from December 26th the matches of the Jupiler Pro League will have to be played behind closed doors to reduce the spread of infections, but in addition to this an outbreak of positives in the Antwerp team group has forced the postponement of the match also on 26 December in the home of KV Courtrai.
