I’m 22,104 new Covid cases recorded in the last 24 hours in Italy, against 21,554 yesterday (here all the data of 10 June). The swabs processed are 187,234 (yesterday 170,097) with the positivity rate falling from 12.7% to 11.8%. The region with the largest number of cases today is the Lombardy with 3,088 infections, followed by Lazio (+2.942), Sicily (+2.183), Campania (+2.122), Veneto (+1.974) ed Emilia Romagna (+1.811). The deaths are 60 (yesterday 52), which bring the total victims since the beginning of the pandemic to 167,365. There are three fewer intensive care units (yesterday -1) with 12 daily admissions, and they are 193 in all. On the other hand, in the ordinary wards there are 86 fewer patients (yesterday -72), for a total of 4,076. The currently positive are 620,966, therefore 2,455 less in the last 24 hours. A total of 17,634,065 Italians have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic. The discharged and healed are 16,845,734, an increase of 24,853 compared to yesterday.
I’m 3,088 new positives at Covid registered against 26,483 swabs in Lombardy, with a positive rate down to 11.6% (yesterday it was 12.6%). The number of hospitalized patients increased slightly in intensive care (+1, 21) and decreased in the wards (-22, 436). There are 11 deaths that bring the total from the beginning of the pandemic to 40,658.
In Sicily I am 2,183 new cases of Coronavirus (but 355 of these dating back to days prior to June 10), compared to 14,440 swabs carried out. In the last 24 hours they have been recorded 14 deaths (5 of these occurred on other dates), which bring the total number of victims on the island to 11,054. The number of the currently positive is 61,983 (+276) while the people hospitalized with symptoms are 528 (+1), of which 23 (-2) in intensive care. There are 61,432 patients in home isolation. The healed / discharged from the beginning of the emergency to date are 1,145,054 (+2,248).
In the Lazio register 2,942 new positive cases (+147) out of a total of 20,575 swabs (4,591 molecular and 15,984 antigenic). There are three deaths (-5), 452 hospitalized (-18), intensive care stable at 31 and +2,010 recovered. The ratio between positives and swabs is 14.2%, while cases in Rome city are at 1,843.
In Campaniain the last 24 hours, they registered 2,122 positives to the Coronavirus (1,919 to the antigen test and 203 to the molecular swab). No deaths in the last 48 hours, 1 previously but recorded yesterday. The swabs processed yesterday were 13,003 of which 9,478 antigenic and 3,525 molecular tests. The regional bed report reports 581 intensive care beds available, 13 of which are occupied, while the hospital beds available, including Covid beds and private offers, 3,160, of which 284 are occupied.
I’m 1,974 new infections in Veneto in the last 24 hours compared to 4 deaths, in solitary confinement there are 28,116 people. On the hospitalization front there is a decrease, in the non-critical area 183 (-15), intensive therapies are instead 10 (+2).
There are 1,811 new cases of Covid in Emilia Romagna, detected on a total of 15,006 swabs. Active cases are 18,055 (+416), of which 17,378 (96.2% of the total) in home isolation. There are then two deaths. There are 27 patients in intensive care (unchanged from yesterday), while in the other departments there are 650 (-10 compared to yesterday).
Puglia
In Puglia out of 9,922 tests, 1,467 new cases were detected, of which 473 in the province of Bari. It was also registered a death. Currently there are 18,581 positive people, 244 are hospitalized in a non-critical area and 13 in intensive care. Overall, since the beginning of the emergency, the total cases are 1,146,752, 1,119,618 people healed and 8,553 those who died.
