The region with the largest number of new cases today is the Lazio (1,341) ahead of Emilia Romagna (1.224), Lombardy (972), Campania (968) e Sicily (731). Total cases since the start of the pandemic come to 17,257,573. The discharged / healed in the last 24 hours are 27,490 (yesterday 24,258) for a total that rises to 16,258,494. The currently positive are 17,549 less (yesterday -6,273) for a total that drops to 833,047. Of these, 826,368 are in home isolation.
Emilia Romagna
Ten deaths e 1,224 positives more than yesterday, out of a total of 7,432 swabs performed in Emilia Romagna. Overall, the percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made is 16.4%, average age 46 years. Patients currently hospitalized in intensive care are 32 (-4 compared to yesterday, equal to -11.1%), while patients admitted to other Covid departments are back above 1,000 (1,021, +30 compared to yesterday, equal to + 3.0%).
Puglia
Collapse of cases e zero deaths for the second consecutive day in Puglia. From the 5,972 tests performed they were identified 584 new cases. The positive-swab ratio is 9.8%, essentially stable compared to yesterday.
Veneto
I’m 551 the new cases of Covid-19 recorded in the last 24 hours in Veneto, a sharp decline for Sunday, which brings the total of infections to 1,741,944. They also register 3 victims, with the total at 14,648. Clinical data is also down, with 38,799 current positives, -836 compared to the previous 24 hours; in non-critical wards there are 650 patients (-9), in intensive care units 39 (-1)
Tuscany
Infections more than halved compared to yesterday also in Tuscany: I am 450 the new positives compared to 3,870 swabs, with a positivity rate that rises from 10.62% to 11.6%. On the other hand, the number of deaths is high: they are registered 13 victims in the last 24 hours. Admissions are increasing (+16), while intensive care remains stable.
