The Italian Golf relaunches the path towards the Ryder Cup 2023 thanks to the support of the sponsor DS Automobiles together for the green which for the next three years will see the Italian Federation and the automotive brand together. An agreement in the name of eco-sustainability as a fil rouge that combines Fig’s commitment to respect for the territory and attention to the environment of DS Automobiles through the E-Tense range.
Open d’Italia and beyond
So DS Automobiles, in addition to being the main partner of the Italian Golf Federation, will also be – in agreement with the official advisor, Infront – title sponsor of the Italian Open, whose 78th edition will be staged from 2 to 5 September at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club of Guidonia Montecelio (Rome) on the renewed race course that will host the Europe-United States challenge in 2023. DS Automobiles will also be the main sponsor of the Italian Pro Tour, the FIG national and international racing circuit now in its 15th edition and main Sponsor also of the upcoming itinerant events “Road to Rome 2023”, the approach path to the most anticipated golf event worldwide.

Italian Pro Tour
The 15th season of the Italian Pro Tour, the national and international competition circuit of the Italian Golf Federation, will be characterized by eight appointments along the boot as part of the 2023 Ryder Cup Project. The season this year started from Abruzzo. with the National Open Championship, the longest-running competition of Italian golf (won by Jacopo Vecchi Fossa) which celebrated the finish line of 81 editions at the Miglianico Golf & Country Club in Miglianico (Chieti). Club that, from 22 to 24 April, will also host the Abruzzo Alps Open, the second event of the Italian Pro Tour 2021 and the third seasonal stop of the Alps Tour, the third European men’s golf circuit. An appointment that will precede the Antognolla Alps Open presented by + energia, staged a week later (from 28 to 30) at the Antognolla Golf in San Giovanni del Pantano (Perugia), in Umbria. After a 45-day break, the Italian Pro Tour will be back in the spotlight, from 16 to 18 June, with the Memorial Giorgio Bordoni presented by AON at the Pinetina Golf Club in Appiano Gentile (Como), in Lombardy. Then, from 15 to 17 July, it will be the turn of the Roma Alps Letas Open, a show that, at the Parco de ‘Medici Golf Club, in the Eternal City, will see not only men but also women as protagonists, with the event included as well in the calendar of LET Access, the second European women’s circuit. Then, from 22nd to 25th July at the Margara Golf Club in Fubine Monferrato (Alessandria), in Piedmont, the Italian Challenge Open will be played, a race of the Challenge Tour, the second men’s continental circuit. At the National Golf of Sutri (Viterbo), in Lazio and in the home of Italian golf, the National Alps Open Golf will be played from 30 September to 2 October, the penultimate stage of the Italian Pro Tour 2021. The grand finale will take place from 5 to 7 November with the Italian Legends Open which will see golf champions over 50 in action.

The new sponsor
