Elachem Vigevano can do nothing against a San Vendemiano who makes no mistake and wins away in the first round of the second playoff round. Coach Mian’s boys find impossible threes, but at the same time they often hit when Vigevano does not have the defense deployed, a condition that does not allow the ducals to give their best. Vigevano in the second period lets himself be dragged into the fast game, based on the run and pull of the opponents, and when the game is channeled on these tracks for the ducals it never ends well.

San Vendemiano collapses to minus 7, but thanks to Vedovato, Borsetto and Azzaro builds a break (0-11) which for the first time, in the second half of the quarter, puts the guests ahead. Procacci breaks his fast (29-30), but San Vendemiano is in a positive streak and the first half ends 35-44.

A partial to be framed

Tomorrow at 9pm the ducals will face the Venetians again at Basletta, while race 3 is scheduled for Friday in San Vendemiano. The eventual game 4 will still be away on Sunday.
