Europa League free to air on Rai

Rai has reached an agreement with Sky Italia for the free-to-air broadcast of two quarter-final and two semi-final matches of the UEFA Europa League featuring an Italian team.

Milan and Roma remain in the running as Italians, who will face each other in the Italian derby, and Atalanta who will face Liverpool.

Furthermore, the agreement also includes eleven singles matches of the Internazionali Bnl d’Italia men’s tennis, plus the women’s singles final or alternatively the men’s or women’s doubles final, for 2024 and 2025.

All exclusively free-to-air with simultaneous broadcast on Sky and NOW.

Which Europa League matches will be broadcast free-to-air have not yet been decided. There will almost certainly be the Italian Milan-Roma derby.

“We are particularly satisfied with this agreement, which will guarantee the widest possible audience the opportunity to enjoy two great moments of sport, which will see Italian teams and athletes as protagonists. It is a further signal of the central importance of sport, and of sports storytelling, in the mission of the Public Service”, underline the CEO of Rai Roberto Sergio and the general director Giampaolo Rossi.
