Kazan, November 7, 2021 – Marco Orsi is European champion of the 100 mixed. The 30-year-old ‘Bomber di Budrio’ took the gold medal on the last day of the European Short Course Championships in Kazan in Russia. The blue scored 50 “95, a new Italian record, finishing ahead of the Greek Andreas Vazaios (51” 72) and the Austrian Bernhard Reitshammer (51 “91).
A bronze instead it arrives in the male 50 breaststroke from Lombard Nicolò Martinenghi, finished third in 25 “54 behind the Belarusian Ilya Shymanovich (25” 25), gold, and the Turkish Emre Sakci, silver. Fourth time for Fabio Scozzoli.
There is also space on the blue bulletin board for the double in the men’s 200 backstroke: Lorenzo Mora won the medal silver e Michele Lamberti the bronze. Gold went to Kawecki from Poland.
